@DrMcScott @poetaster There are hundreds of Director games. Basically any 90s Windows/Mac multimedia CD-ROM game has a 90% chance of being one. Damn near every Myst clone is, and so are most kids educational animated cd-roms.
ScummVM has an official list that covers a fraction of the total amount:

        Director/Games
This is the first release of what eventually became Director. Animations are black-and-white only and limited to classic Macs. The movies should be compatible with ScummVM's engine, but the file format is slightly different.

@poetaster @dosnostalgic weirdly don't know these games off the top of my head. Was there a standout game or two?

@poetaster Myst was never a Director game, as far as I know. Original Mac version is Hypercard, but the Windows version from spring of 94 is already on the custom engine that would power all the versions going forward.

@dosnostalgic just tested two of the shitty minigames that came with the Independence Day toys, they are glitchy, but playable! (but well, IIRC they were already glitchy back then).
