     @codewiz 5?! I'm still at 4, no plans for 5 in Japan. And that would probably be not effective... Too much people and no masking at all.

     @benoit Looks like Japan is still working through 22B, aka Omicron BA.5, while in the rest of the world 22E and 22F are already dominant.

     My parents in Italy were also uninformed about the updated booster for Omicron. They both told me "yeah, I already did all three shots."

     I took my mom to the vaccination center, and there wasn't anyone in line.

     @codewiz no. I think the government is abandoning everything since they will put COVID on the same level as flu...
