The Global Risks Report 2023 is clear: 5 out of the top-10 global short term risks (2 years) are in the Environmental category. ‘Natural disasters and extreme weather events’ is NUMBER TWO.

Over the long term (10 years), 6 out of the top-10 global risks are in the Environmental category. ‘Failure to mitigate climate change’ is NUMBER ONE.
