I just protected my Twitter account. I was thinking about trimming down my follow count there, and I'm having a real Caliph Omar moment.

Twitter users who have Mastodon handles in their bios are already followed on Mastodon, so I don't *need* to follow them.

Twitter users who *don't* have Mastodon handles in their bios by this point are terrible people, and I don't *want* to follow them.

I think I should unfollow everybody.
