     Sorry to hear. IMO: Too many indiscriminate subscriptions. I blame this on the psuedo-centralization crowd who feel they need to see every comment in a comment tree on their instance rather than follow comments they're interested in to the instance of origin to see what others have to say (qvitter fucked us here by requiring javascript).
