     @victorhck I checked the source release and no, it didn't go "open source": https://raw.githubusercontent.com/twitter/the-algorithm/main/COPYING
     
     They've placed a copy of the AGPLv3 at the root, which implies that the source is licensed as free software under the AGPLv3, but license headers seem to be missing (these should be included in each nontrivial file).
