    With Ubuntu 23.04, Steam is offered as a snap.

    The Steam snap bundles key dependencies to run both new and older titles without the need to enable and manage additional PPAs. This includes 32-bit libraries and cutting edge Mesa drivers.

    And I think this is not bad idea, you don't pollute your 64-bit system with 32-bit legacy messy things.

      @benoit For those who hate Snap, there's a flatpak too, with similar benefits.

      But shouldn't Steam itself provide a sandbox to run old 32-bit games, much like it uses Proton to run Windows games?
