   Hi folks. I'm trying to move completely off T______. But I still have 2500+ followers there and only 100 here. So I still get way more real-person engagement there than here. So if you think others in the Fediverse should read my awesome takes on freedom expression and other digital rights issues, please recommend they follow me here.

     Fulangirl is right, #hashtags are beacons of light in the #fediverse

     Also, I cut the T___ cord completely some time ago & I promise you the same interactions that created your large following there are useful here -- be yourself, #hashtag your posts, look for like-minded folk, follow people & interact with them.

     @davidgreene I see your post has no hashtags. On Mastodon that is how you get followers. Find the hashtags for the stuff you talk about and use them.
