But once Bluesky decentralizes, how will they solve this problem?

Because the core of the problem is gated communities. Once anyone can set up a server that federates with Bluesky, I guarantee that the gated communities will come.

Maybe Bluesky can learn from Mastodon’s misstep—but we don’t know until decentralization happens.
