Yes, I'm overreaching. JS isn't so bad, though I would prefer not to run a potentially different JS version for each instance. Qvitter's issue is tangential in that it cripples the site.

IMO Moderation should be plugable. My experience with reddit is that moderators tend toward authoritarianism, so I want to be able to choose based on implementation of policy. We already have an infrastructure defined in 2 forms. Email: dns based lists. AdBlock: downloadable lists. We just need list curators (and integration). @tomas
