This is a scary situation to be in. We went through this last year, and it's very stressful. We were down to several days of water left, too. The city government drilled wells and set up portable water treatment stations with public tanks for watering trees and grass and other uses. That left the water in the reservoir for household use. The water department turned the water off in each district of the city on certain days. We were trying to conserve water and reuse clean water as much as possible. But it was the arrival of the spring monsoons which saved us in the end.

Here's hoping you get rain to break the drought soon!
