Many people don't care about this but Red Hat stopped packaging LibreOffice in RPM so the packages have been orphaned. Everything is in favour of promoting flatpak. I don't know why but I'm afraid that fucking red hat and fucking Canonical are trying to control the medium of delivering software.
In theory you can make your own store but flathub is the facto Standard and it could be possible closed in the future by red hat and be completely propietary.
I wouldn't let traditional packages die.
