   Lemmy is similar to Reddit, based on communities, which are like sub-reddits. Federation happens by community, which is nice. You can subscribe to communities on other instances, but sometimes finding them might get a little tricky.

   Newer and similar to lemmy, but has a microblogging interface too which is cool. Will have more rough edges than lemmy, but it’s fusion is cool and might not get hit as hard during the migration.
