Mastodon is wild, y'all really got white folks on this site calling Black and Indigenous people colonizers, yet wonder why this place can't keep Black folks.

You cannot at once say that indigenous people of one continent who were overrun and absorbed into an empire and whose people were conscripted into an army are colonizers, but people on another continent who volunteered in the military to show they were equally loyal to the state as anyone else were not. It’s either one or the other.
