     @archaeme @moonman @dolus most laptops still ship with Windows. Most users don't have the knowledge or the confidence to change their operating system. There's also the network effect that once you're in the world of proprietary systems it can be difficult to extricate yourself from the lock-in. It took me a few years to transition away from Windows.
