   I'm re-watching Miyazaki's #anime series Future Boy Conan with #Japanese subtitles. It's easy to read with furigana.

   This is the episode in Monsley (モンスリ) gradually transforms from ruthless soldier of Industria to an ally of the people of High Harbor.

   Monsley's language also switches from formal to casual, something that's lost in the English subs.

     @alameth Some torrents have them.

     This particular one had Japanese subs ripped from the DVD, so they're images rather than text:

     @alameth You already know Animelon? They don't have a lot of #anime series, but their subs are great for learning #Japanese.

     @codewiz Ah, thank you. I have a lot of DVDs but not a single one has Japanese subs, even Region 2 and 3. Original Japanese audio and video, including signage, but subs in English.
