   Watched a 39 minute video about my hometown from one of those alternate history types. Kind of impressive, actually. As a person familiar with local history & also, you know, REALITY I rolled my eyes a few times, but it was well put together & everything. Basically it's a lot of video footage of local historical architecture while a barrage of total bullshit is being narrated in an assertive, yet calm voice. Lots of photo montages too. Could be rather convincing, if you're a fucking idiot.

     I thought the point of alternate history was "imagine if the world was like this" not "the world is really like this"?

     @dheadshot Well, I'm not really in conspiracy theory circles, so maybe referring to it as "alternate history" wasn't right.
