    The idea that you can live forever by uploading your consciousness to a computer is a peculiar form of narcissism. Even if this were done perfectly as presupposed, the ‘you’ will surely die; at most a copy of you would survive. (thus the peculiarity)

      Or beyond that -- have you ever tried to keep software running for more than a few years? It's not easy!
