   Mastodon has a post editing feature which lets you make changes to your posts after they've been published.

   Here's how to edit:

   1. Go to the post
   2. Click ⋯
   3. Click "Edit"
   4. Make the changes you want (including adding or removing attachments, or adding alt text or polls)
   5. Click "Save Changes"

   ⚠️ NOTE:

   To prevent abuse, every edit sends a notification to everyone who has interacted with post.

   Editing poll options resets poll votes to zero without warning.

   You cannot edit post visibility.

     If you click on "Edited" on my post, it will show a list of versions. Click on one of them to see the text of that version.

     @feditips Ohhh, si si, antes no, solo se veia el numero de ediciones, bien bien, me gusta.

     txs a lot.

     No sabia eso, sabia que se podia ver la cantidad de veces de la edicion pero no el contenido anterior a ser editado.

     You see the entire text of all the previous versions. Click on "Edited" and then select one of the versions, it will show you the text in that version.

     If you edit a post in any way, that will be notified to everyone who interacted with it, whether they are mentioned or not.

     There's also a link on the edited post to show all the previous versions of the post.

     Deberia notificar que en esa edicion se le ha sacado de las menciones no?

     Really good question!

     You can edit polls, but if you edit the options on the poll it resets the numbers to zero.

     Also, apologies for the now-deleted post about finding people on Twitter, the tool possibly had some error messages, but will check on its status and re-post if needed.
