     @dosnostalgic It was always the height of laziness in arcade ports to just use the built-in PC BIOS font instead of the original arcade font. It's a small thing, sure, but it always bugged me even as a kid, and made it feel less "arcade-y" for no good reason.

     @aaronsgiles I feel like it's from an era when most arcade ports to PC were churned out fairly quickly & without too much effort. Plus it's a booter, so I'm sure it was just easier to not pack any more data in. PC users at the time were just happy that something moved on screen at all. 😆
