I've got my GOG installers backed up locally and without any DRM. Same thing for select Steam games like Baldur's Gate 3 (no DRM either). Still very digital and comfortably preserved. Very happy to own digital copies of games as long as either digital rights management doesn't get in the way or I can bypass it with ease.
