   @retrosponge Lots of people argue against it being a Christmas movie. My argument now always is: if Home Alone is a Christmas movie, then so is Die Hard. Christmas figures into the plot of both films in near *exact* ways.

     @polpo @retrosponge And the character's journey is motivated by family. It's certainly a very common Christmas movie theme.

     @dosnostalgic @retrosponge I saw Die Hard for the first time a few days ago and I’m amazed that there’s a debate about it being a Christmas movie. I didn’t expect it to be so damned Christmas-y!
