   Thinkpads with #Fedora #linux are now supposed to be available from #Lenovo in various European countries. Apparently the Netherlands is - just like two years ago - not one of these: Searching for Fedora on the Dutch Lenovo website returns exactly *one* #laptop, but in its configuration options it says that it comes with M$ Wind*ws! Fedora isn't mentioned anywhere. Such a shame!

     @nyte @mw Indeed, I recently had an issue with my Lemur Pro, and interacting with #System76 support was quite a hassle even within the USA.

     Aren't there any Linux-friendly laptop makers in Europe?

     @codewiz @mw If I remember correctly, shipping to Europe is insanely expensive and slow. That really sucks if have an issue with your laptop and need to send it in for repair

     @codewiz @nyte @mw Laptop with Linux uses the same Clevo laptop as System 76 and allows far more customization. Based in the Netherlands. https://laptopwithlinux.com/
