@protonmail Hello team! In my workflow, I usually create a task to respond to important messages and, in the task description, I add a link to the message in question. I use Proton Mail from Mac, added to the dock from Safari, so that it behaves like an independent app. It works great, but it seems that each message has a different URL depending on whether it is in "inbox" or if it is in "archive". That makes the flow very difficult, because it does not allow to view the inbox → copy link → archive, but it has to be done the other way around (and when "archiving" the message disappears). Is there a way to copy the message URL without depending on whether it is archived or not?

@protonmail 😢😢😢 I've seen that the idea is already in your Uservoice and have posted a comment. I hope you really consider improving this soon. 🙏 https://protonmail.uservoice.com/forums/284483-proton-mail/suggestions/46407523-permanent-url-to-email

      1. Permanent url to email
        from asdf
Often I want to store a link to an email in my notes or todo app (because I need to reference the email at a later moment). The link in the URL bar is currently not suitable for this, because when I archive the email, the link does not work anymore. In other words, I want a link that points to a specific email, no matter the state (inbox, archived, trash...) it is in. Can you add this option to the web app and mobile app please? Thank you for considering this feature.

@superwillyfoc Hi Guillermo! Unfortunately, this isn't possible at this moment, since, as you've observed, the name of the folder is present in the URL.
