   Found a file CS.BMP in my backups from when I used to play Counter-Strike, dated October 9th 2000, so it predates Counter-Strike 1.0.

     If you miss old LAN games and you're in New York, you can always come down to Long Island Retro Gaming Expo, August 9th - 11th, to play some classics, original Counter-Strike among them.
