This reminds me. I should probably look into how to recompile Quake 3, since for reasons unknown it's hardcoded to limit the default amount of players on a server to 8, even though there are 10 available slots in the creation screen. 😠

Turned out that it's not all one executable, but a bunch of DLLs that are loaded at runtime. So I just had to recompile the UI dll, and drop it in the BASEQ3 folder to override the included one, and it just works. 👍
