   Winamp source code got released... but the license prohibits distribution of modified versions *in any form*, and completely forbids even *creating* a fork. 😱

     @dosnostalgic it isn't like there is still market for selling a MP3 software for Windows 😂 20 years ago I would have been curious about it, but now I don't feel like I'm losing something if I don't browse the source code.

     @dosnostalgic the Github TOS explicitly allow forking (at least when remaining on the platform): https://docs.github.com/en/site-policy/github-terms/github-terms-of-service#5-license-grant-to-other-users
