     @dmbaturin I'm assuming alien forces taking over the planet, defeating all formal governments, and leaving only a small portion of inhabitants implies that student loan records were most likely lost.

     @dosnostalgic Is there any indication in the HL canon that his student loans were forgiven?
     I’m pretty sure they would not forgive them so easily, no matter the circumstances.
