    Happy π day, everyone!
    When I was in school in Russia I learned a little poem to remember some of Pi's numbers. The principle was simple - count the number of letters in each word for a digit after 3:

    Я знаю и помню прекрасно
    Пи лишние знаки мне вовсе напрасны

    (I know and remember well, Pi's extra digits are useless to me)

    3.14159265358

      @dosnostalgic excellent!

      The German version I know:

      Wie, o dies π macht ernstlich so vielen viele müh? Lernt immerhin, Jünglinge, leichte Verselein! Wie so zum Beispiel dies dürfte zu merken sein!

      Verbatim:
      How, o this π, causes seriously so many such difficulty? Learn then, younglings, simple verses! Such as for example this should to remember be!

      (German grammar is correct, just stilted: "o" for "oh" is archaic, "π" as 1-letter word is creative. But 23 digits! More than I'll ever need!)
