     Knowing how Gargon interacted with people.
     The modifications did with the fork.
     The tricks used in the mastodon interface to make people stay.
     There's people behind all this now.
     Maybe not in the beginning I think Gargon just did the fork because he wanted to do it.
     But you know human greed and stuff mess up people.
     
     Seeing these terms, he didn't come up with them himself and aren't here for no reasons.

     For the influx of users either Gargon had a lot of money to spend very quickly or he's sponsored just like discord who was sponsored to 20+ millions, or he isn't sponsored and is thinking he's making a good investment trading with one or more of these diverse companies:
