   @1iceloops123 @yoz @sonya @rustyk5 You're right, but the funny thing is that federation will just continue to work right around those roadblocks, just as it always has.

   Those who want islands get their own contained spaces. Those who don't can federate right around those pockets of isolation and not even notice those people.

   The real issue is that someone better work on a good migration tool.

     @deadsuperhero @1iceloops123 @yoz @sonya @rustyk5 a migration tool might not be all that difficult to write, but the ideal would be something like Hubzilla's nomadic identity. That is, accounts on separate servers which act as a single identity.
