Disturbing news when I woke up this morning I had.
Freedesktop.org has decided to put themselves under the contributor Covenant a horrible CoC that easily justifies power grabs.

Not only this license permits unethical actions towards someone but it's also a simple aberration if you have some basic knowledge in laws.
A good recent example of this is what happened with the drupal community.
Where the so called tolerance of their CoC didn't withstand their distorted ideologies and forced someone to be removed from the project.

CoCs are to me exactly the same kind of justifications that were used to remove our freedom after 9/11 or other terror attack.

I would like to remember the wize words that EsR has written some time ago either because of some direct and despicable events or because of some simple logic.
