     @maiyannah @deadsuperhero one thing to consider with any !gnusocial OMEMO implementation is where the keys reside. If the server has all the keys and you have enough users then this will attract the Five Eyes of Sauron.

     @maiyannah @deadsuperhero I think Friendica has native support for Diaspora federation, so it may also be worth locating that code to see if it's useful.
