   At this point there has been so much ranting about the numerous problems of Signal that I feel I have nothing more to add.

     @moonman @deadsuperhero I agree with that. Signal has problems but isn't the worst offender. I've never actually used Telegram, but the reports are that it has fake crypto and a closed centralized server. Someone said it only has transport encryption by default and so most messages exist in plaintext on the Telegram server and can be read by whoever.
