   @archaeme Ultimately I cannot stop them from doing this nor do I think it would be appropriate for me to do so even if I could, but that doesn't mean I cannot criticise it, and I would encourage instance admins to treat the Fediverse with more care and respect.  We are not a "brand" or an advertising byword.  We're people.  We're not in the silos anymore, and I don't want to see the Fediverse become like those silos.

     @maiyannah @archaeme ultimately, nodes obsessed with blocking other nodes will only lose out and deprive their users. This kind of folly will work itself out over time.
