     @maiyannah some people have this DIY mindset. I think I've always had it. But a lot of people are trained to only be consumers and that some other "official" person or organization must fix their problems for them.

     @maiyannah in the consumer mindset the way to bring about the change you want to see is to shout at the official or to sign a petition or to buy a different product. We all do it to some extent. Some more than others though.
