   @animeirl @Elizafox @0x1C3B00DA The rules are specified by the OStatus suit of protocols, none of which dictate which HTML you are allowed to use in <content type="html" />, because different software may have different use cases for this, and the OStatus authors have realized this.

     @Gargron @Elizafox @0x1C3B00DA regardless of the mental gymnastics you use to justify this level of stubbornness the fact is that mastodon posts look borderline unreadable on gnu social. The fix for this is pretty trivial AND has already been done for you. You can fix the issue or you can continue doing whatever the hell you think it is your doing and continue having your users suffer.
