Did a 40km cycling trip yesterday to travel to the city and purchase stuff. it took 4:30 hours. I found the ability to travel anywhere i like without having to wait for the appropriate bus liberating. Although, navigating through the traffic was a harrying experience. Since 70% of my trip was through a national highway, there wasn't too many problems due to traffic. Was a little exhausted, but then felt quite satisfied. The same trip when using a bus would have taken about 3:30 hours, which is not much of a difference in terms of time.
