   I do somewhat trust the Debian project to have a commitment to Free Software. Given recent statements I don't really trust Mark Shuttleworth to have a similar commitment.

     @peter I was only thinking in the context of possibly using something like Ubuntu Core for the Freedombone project. Really I want to keep any proprietary stuff out, so although the approach being taken in Ubuntu Core might be a good one I don't know if it would be usable.
