@schestowitz I think he has the right idea. Grow the community and features incrementally. Don't try to invent all the things immediately. If they had started of with a basic "free software phone" supporting free software internet services then I would have been far more interested and willing to develop apps for it. A phone which comes with apps for closed proprietary services, like Gmail or Telegram, was exactly what I was trying to get away from during the time when UbuntuTouch was being developed. So look at developer community interests first, then grow out from there.
