The highest recorded wind gust in the storm yesterday was 74 mph. That is hurricane force wind. That, along with hail, destroyed my garden, did a number on my fence, and tore up my roof. We were all booty hurt by this until we drove around town today and saw trees that had fallen onto houses, fences, or cars. Parts of town have been without power since the storm, and some snapped power poles are still down 24 hours later. Right around the corner from us a carport is on someone's roof, someone who didn't have a carport before.
