     @witti @hikerus @fce @lain Bei Mastodon hat man so z.B. das Problem mit den privaten Toots gelöst. Es gibt schon berechtigte Gründe das einzusetzen.
     
     Sollte GNUSocial dann wohl am besten einfach auch mal implementieren.

     @rugk @hikerus @fce @lain @witti Dagegen sträubt sich bei mir alles. Private Posts/Nachrichten vermitteln einen vollkommen falschen Eindruck. Und allein deshalb AP zu implementieren? Ich weiß nicht.

     @witti Naja zumindest nicht verschlüsselt, aber so ein DM-Feature fände ich jetzt nicht so schlecht. Ist eben ein anderer Anwendungszweck und mit dem neuen Protokoll werden zumindest von GNUSocial-Nutzern nicht mehr diese privaten Toots gesehen.

     @vinzv Achso, verstehe. Gut aber das ist ja dann eine Entscheidung des jeweiligen Server-Admins. Die Funktion kann man bei Mastodon sicher auch deaktivieren.

     @rugk Vermutlich, ich weiß es nicht. Aber bis jetzt habe ich noch keinen Vorteil von AP gehört der einen solchen Schritt (aus meiner Sicht) rechtfertigt.
