But EME is not included in the builts itself (would e.g. cause legal issues, and ethical things you indicate, of course). It is afterwards installed as a plugin. Unticking *one* checkbox in the settings, however, **uninstalls** the plugin! I.e. there is no such code there anymore, then. -

Only the for this feature necessary (proprietary) CDM (content decryption module) is a plugin. -

No need to remove fine FLOSS code, even though you don't like the feature. -
