  If you care about a secure PC, you don't use Windows, you use a free code OS (eg Trisquel or Debian with non-free repos disabled)

  Ergo, if your Mum is using Windows, she cares about convenience over security, and will therefore never learn to manually edit her registry

  BTW No offence meant to your Mum or her OS choice, I just chose that example because my Mum has a Windows PC which I end up maintaining :(
