     @steelman @predrage like I said, I'm not opposed to regulation, but I think it's hubris not to acknowledge that it can cause monopolies too

     @predrage @steelman it's also hubris to think that passing laws can magically fix complex problems. It's one tool, among many.

     @predrage @steelman ...setting up replacement businesses that use more ethical practices etc etc. It's usually a combo of tools that work

     @predrage @steelman You can make all the laws you want against carbon emissions, but you're pissing into the wind if that's all you do.
