I agree very much with this take on the issue of Catalan independence:

The own process of popular direct action and disobedience to achieve independence may very well be the path to such real autonomy. However, I see too many people still clinging to the state paradigm of organisation. Anyway, this is an excellent opportunity to break a lot of things, or even maybe just to create cracks in the system that we'll be able to grow in time.
