On the #Catalonia protests and the arrests following them: Frankly, if your riot is large enough, it should be legal to do stuff like blocking the way of the police. If thousands of people are trying to stop the police, the police likely has the wrong orders, and should also disobey them, for the same reasons that Nazi officers didn't get away with saying "I was just following orders" in the Nuremberg trials.
