    #Gentoo:
    Startup finished in 27.592s (kernel) + 20.699s (userspace) = 48.291s

    #Debian 9:
    Startup finished in 53.256s (kernel) + 3min 2.195s (userspace) = 3min 55.451s

    #Ubuntu 17.10:
    Startup finished in 22.367s (kernel) + 37.757s (userspace) = 1min 125ms

    #LinuxMint 18.2:
    Startup finished in 23.889s (kernel) + 33.032s (userspace) = 56.921s

    #ArchLinux:
    Startup finished in 21.277s (kernel) + 50.185s (userspace) = 1min 11.462s

All on same box. Seems #Debian need some deep analysis.

      in reply to

#Debian was claiming "Gave up waiting for suspend/resume device".
update-initramfs fixed it, which set the swap device to the correct UUID
      Boot performance result :
      Startup finished in 21.526s (kernel) + 21.738s (userspace) = 43.265s (was 3min 55.451s)
Now #Debian is the fastest one.
