@horia That's the problem. when I turn it off, dhcp requests coming from the clients don't reach the (other) dhcp server.
I actually discovered that if I connect the RasPi to the WiFi then it works (the wifi clients get addresses).
If I unplug the eth cable from the Pi nothing works: can't ping the wifi IP. When I plug the eth back I can ping both the wifi IP and the eth IP. But eth clients dont get IP's at all. put all eth clients into a switch and now they get IP's https://social.librenet.co.za/media/8HkFs410iAoJUcPLuEE
