@phenethylamine @raucao I'm not talking to noobs here. That requires more than 130 char and is best done in mailing lists/ web forums
-
@raucao @h could this be an "all fish are trout" fallacy in action?
-
@raucao @h All left-anarchism is decentralized, but not all that is decentralized is left-anarchism
-
@raucao sorry, now I'm confused. You are an anarcho-capitalist, yes, but consider this part of the left? Did I get that right?
-
@raucao Hmm. You seem to be pro-capitalist. Are you saying you're not an anarchist? I'm not judging, just trying to understand your stance
-
@raucao so that's your definition of "capitalism"? Free markets, voluntary exchange, and political decentralization?
-
@raucao or are you saying you're neither pro nor anti capitalism, since some people woud define "capitalism" that way (a fair position)
-
@raucao BTW you might find that "mutualist" is a label that fits being in favour of that combo of things

-
@phenethylamine sort of, but I think the issue @raucao has is that free markets, voluntary exchange etc are not synonymous with "capitalism"
-
@phenethylamine yes folks like @raucao, the left libertarians, Proudhonian mutualists, and others who advocate them get labeled "capitalist"
-
@raucao @phenethylamine I would say that's because a large number of contemporary anarchists have fallen into a knee-jerk neo-Marxism ...
-
@raucao @phenethylamine that sees anarchism as inherently part of a united front with pro-state socialists and identitarian liberals
-
@raucao @phenethylamine too many contemporary "anarchists" seem not to know or care how the ideas of Proudhon and Bakunin differed from Marx
-
@raucao @phenethylamine I'm using those name as shorthand for the ideas they are known for, among people I expect to be educated
